Welcome to Ramapo Dental Care of Suffern, NY
Since our dental practice opened in 1969, families throughout the community have found a neighborhood dental care home at Ramapo Dental Care. Our full-service dental practice has developed a reputation for top-quality dental care and compassionate, gentle treatment. Our highly-skilled dentists perform a wide range of general dental services, cosmetic dentistry, dental repair and restorative treatments and more. We specialize in treatment for adults, adolescents, children as young as three years old and patients with special needs. Parents can rest assured that our kind and kid-friendly staff will always accommodate our youngest patients that need extra loving care.
Our practice is also wheelchair accessible to welcome patients with special needs. We are proud to have made generations of families smile and look forward to doing the same for yours. Our practice is located at 29 N Airmont Rd, Suite 2, Suffern, NY 10901. You will find us right off of the New York State Thruway, off of Exit 14B. If travel is a concern for you, a public transportation route is right nearby our office. We are open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. Our morning and evening hours on certain days allow you and your family to fit regular dental care visits into your busy schedules. If weekday visits are difficult to arrange, we offer Saturday appointments in the morning through the early afternoon.
When a dental emergency strikes, you need to see an emergency dentist as quickly as possible to reduce pain and prevent future complications. Fortunately, you can find emergency dental treatment at our local dentist office. We always reserve time for our dentists to treat dental emergencies, so relief is always in reach at the closest dentist office near you. To show our appreciation for the community’s ongoing support, we contribute to many local charities, including Covenant House, the Salvation Army, and Operation Gratitude. Our office staff speaks English, Spanish, and Russian to ensure that the community feels welcome at our Suffern dentist office.
General Dentist: Your Primary Dental Provider
General dentists perform essential maintenance procedures and care for the teeth and gums for patients of all ages. They also diagnose and treat tooth decay and other problems. If necessary, a general dentist can refer you to the appropriate specialist. A good dentist will also make sure their patients receive proper dental education so that they can take good care of their teeth for a lifetime. Most patients should see a dentist every six months. Your dentist will check for problems you may not be able to see or feel and can treat them while they’re at a manageable stage.
